Pallet Types and Standards for International Shipping
Euro pallet (80x120 cm) is the European standard; ISO pallet (100x120 cm) the global standard. All wood pallets for international shipping must be ISPM-15 treated (heat-treated or fumigated) to prevent pest transmission.

ISPM-15 Requirement
All wood packaging (pallets, crates) for international trade must be ISPM-15 treated (FAO standard). Treatment methods: HT (heat treatment: 56°C for 30 min) or MB (methyl bromide, being phased out). ISPM-15 stamp must be visible.
Euro Pallet (EPAL)
The EPAL-certified euro pallet is Europe's standard: 80x120 cm, 20-25 kg, max 1,500 kg load. Part of a pooling system for cross-border circulation. Recommended for all Turkey-Europe shipments.
