Customs Union Advantage
Turkey has been part of the European Union Customs Union since 1996. Under this agreement, industrial products and processed agricultural goods can be shipped to EU countries without customs duty when accompanied by an A.TR movement certificate. Shipments from Turkey to Germany, France, Netherlands, and other EU countries can benefit from this advantage.
The A.TR certificate is an official movement document that proves goods are in free circulation in Turkey. With this certificate, customs duty rates drop to 0% for products covered by the Customs Union. Textiles, furniture, electronics, machinery, and many industrial products fall within this scope. Fresh food and most agricultural products remain outside the Customs Union.
At Kolay Parsiyel, we handle A.TR certificate procurement and all customs procedures on your behalf. We ensure you benefit from the Customs Union advantage in the most efficient way possible.
